Originally from the United States, with deep Portuguese family roots, my connection to the Algarve has always been personal. My own family owns a secondary home here, and for many years we experienced the common challenges of managing a property abroad — coordinating vendors, monitoring maintenance, addressing unexpected issues, and worrying from thousands of miles away.
When I relocated permanently to the Algarve with my husband and daughter, I began personally overseeing my family’s property — meeting contractors, conducting regular checks, and ensuring everything was properly maintained.
The transformation was immediate.
The peace of mind it brought to my family in the United States was invaluable. Knowing someone trustworthy was physically present, attentive, and proactive removed the uncertainty that so often accompanies owning a home overseas.
That experience became the foundation for Elite Property Care.

Regular walk-throughs of all key rooms, terraces and outdoor areas, with plumbing, electrics and visible security systems checked on every visit – backed by photographic reports.
Secure keyholding and controlled access for contractors and deliveries, including alarm and gate monitoring where configured, to keep your property safe and your privacy protected.
Oversight of pool, garden and cleaning teams, plus coordination of repairs and minor works, with clear documentation of what has been done and when.
In case of leaks, storm damage or system failures, we attend on site, limit damage and arrange urgent repairs within agreed parameters, keeping you informed at every step.
Airing the property, preparing beds, switching on air-conditioning and setting up terraces and pool areas, with optional grocery stocking so everything feels ready the moment you arrive.
